I know I'm gonna pay for it tomorrow but today I ignored the "to do" pile on my desk and experimented in the studio. The first cab is boulder opal from Australia and the second one is a piece of carved turquoise. I soldered 16 ga copper wire pieces together (in the back), balled the ends and wrapped them around front to hold the stones in place. A touch of LOS, a pass thru the tumbler and done!
